Special shoutout to for a fantastic performance in a thrilling Technical Race. All the training is paying off!! Great job as well to our debutants, Ethan and Ean, who both rose to the occasion and added to the team’s medal count.

The ocean doesn’t care where you’re from. It exposes how you read water, decide under pressure, and recover when it breaks down.

Three nations, one heritage, one race.

The sea once connected our people. Last weekend, it connects our paddlers. Same currents, same challenges, same spirit.

Rough conditions greeted us on race day. For safety, the Technical distance race was reduced. Same spirit, same challenge, and a shared respect for the sea.

From the same sea, we rise together.

Long before modern borders, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore were bound as one region by sea, trade, and kinship.

This race honours that common heritage and celebrates the enduring bonds of fellowship between our three nations.

In recognition of this legacy, participation for this year is reserved for athletes from Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore.

Rooted in our shared beginnings, the State of Origin Teknikal Race hereby presents our winners in the 1km Teknikal SPRINT Category.
