Japan 12-22 June

This year, Hammerhead sent a small team of 3 over to Japan to race in the 39th All Japan Lifesaving Individual Event Championship. It was truly an eye opening experience.

This event was also used as an official test event for the World Masters Games happening next year, as well as to serve as a trial for the national team selection.

-Hammerhead Lifesaving Debut at the Lifesaving World Championships-

One month post competion and the feeling is still so surreal.

Could not have wished for a more awesome experience with the team!

From the countless homemade meals, to the massages on the Airbnb floors, to the many new friends that we made, and to the many old friends that we rekindled the flames with. Wouldn't have wished for it to happen any other way.

Through blood, sweat & tears, and loads of laughter and shenanigans along the way ( mostly the shenanigans), this is truly a trip of a lifetime. To experience the lifesaving sport at the heart of it all, on the sunny coast of Gold Coast Australia.

Last but not least, we have and will always be the team that is doing it for the LOLS(Love of Life Saving)
