The last one in this series, let’s talk excuses ~ because some are real! You’re sick. You’re injured. You genuinely need rest. Those aren’t excuses, that’s knowing and supporting your body.

But most of the excuses I hear aren’t that.

„I don’t know what to do.“
„I don’t have time.“
„I can’t do this.“
„I’m not disciplined enough.“
„I will embarass myself.“

None of those are reasons to not start. They’re fear, wearing a very convincing (!) costume.

You do NOT need to know what to do. Nobody starts knowing what to do. I show you what to do and give you that clarity.

You do NOT need to be strong yet. Nobody starts strong. That’s the whole point of starting and making progress (would be sooo boring if you couldn’t make any single progress anywhere in your life and you would already simply be perfect, wouldn’t it lol)

And, to really don’t let those fear ruling you for any longer: You DO NOT need to figure any of this out alone. You can decide to learn it together with me once, and keep it forever.

If any of the above is the thing standing between you and the gym, that’s exactly what I’m here for and when you should start. In person on Gotland. Or online from anywhere in the world through The Consistency Code.

That’s the last tip in this series ~ not a rep count, not a machine setting. Just a lovely kick in the bum saying: your excuse probably isn’t as real as it feels.

And making you realise that you are the one deciding if that thought rules you or not. In my opinon it shouldn’t any longer. Because it feels god damn GOOD to step through those fears and come out of it on the other side 😉

This kick in the bum puts you back into your power, because I know that you have it 😘

In this episode, we’re breaking down something I get asked about constantly ~ what healthy eating actually looks like, and I explain why the picture most of us are carrying around in our heads is just wrong.

I walk through exactly what I mean by healthy ~ the actual framework I use with clients, real meals with real portions and macros, the kind of thing you can write down and make tonight.

A burrito bowl. Pan sheet Salmon and sweet potatoes. Even chocolate, built in on purpose, not snuck around. Because here’s the thing: the version of „healthy eating“ most of us learned is bland, restrictive, and something you push through until the weekend. That’s not healthy eating. That’s a diet wearing a „healthy“ tag.

We talk about:

‱ what actually makes a meal „healthy“ ~ and why it’s simpler than you think

‱ real example meals, with exact portions and macros

‱ why cutting carbs was never the answer, and never needed to be

‱ how building treats like chocolate into the structure beats relying on willpower every single time

‱ what changes once you know what healthy looks like on a plate

Bring me the problem & desire. I’ll bring the plan đŸ€đŸ»đŸ€

You don’t need the expert vocabulary to work with me.

You don’t need to know if what you want is called „toning,“ „definition,“ „fat loss,“ or „muscle building.“ Most people use those words differently anyway, and they overlap in many ways too.

What I need from you is just the truth:

How you feel right now. How your life looks right now.

What you don’t love about it.

How you want to feel instead. How you want your life to look instead.

I’ll take it from there.

(If you are curious about the actual definitions, I broke them all down in a post further down my feed đŸ‘‡đŸ»)

But it’s definitely NOT what I need from you! đŸ€

This question changed a lot for me, because if you let fear run the show, fear is deciding your life for you.

Be honest about the importance of what is it you’re actually scared of.

One random person in the gym having a fleeting thought about you?

Newsflash: they couldn’t care less about you. They’re focused on their own workout, their own challenges, their own day.

You won’t know that’s true until you actually give yourself the experience.

That’s the only way your body learns the thing you’ve been telling yourself is a lie.

I used to be the queen of overtraining.

6-7 days a week, no exceptions. Long hiking day? Still went to the gym. Early morning flight? Set the alarm even earlier to fit it in before the travel day.

This my loves, was not discipline. It was fear. Fear of what would happen to my body, my progress, myself, if I missed a single day in the gym.

As always, my body eventually told me the truth I wasn’t listening to:

Inflammation, exhaustion, pressure and low-grade anxiety that lived in the background of every single day because I needed to have the gym around.

The moment training stopped giving me freedom and started taking it away, I knew something was wrong.

Today I train 3-4 times a week. The rest of my movement comes from walking, hiking, swimming, doing things around the house like gardening and organising ~ things I also love and want to have space for, BESIDES the gym.

And I’m the leanest, fittest & healthiest I’ve ever been. With LESS gym.

Most people think the hard part is starting to go to the gym.

But there’s another side of that tunnel too ~ where the hard part is learning to go less.

I’ve stood on both ends, and everywhere in between. And I found the beautiful middle ground in it, the place that works, long term, in real life. The place that is fun, and that shows off on the outside AND the inside.

Wherever you’re standing in that tunnel right now it‘s not wrong, that’s where we start. Together. And where we find your way. 😍
