Most people focus on calories and completely overlook micronutrients.
Omega 3s, magnesium, zinc, and calcium may not get the same attention as protein, but they play a huge role in recovery, energy, muscle function, bone health, and overall performance. The little things matter more than most people realise.

Don’t just look at my end results and take inspiration.
Look at the decisions I made 5 years ago…
When I put every single ounce of energy 🔋, time ⌚️and focus 🧠 into my goals 🎯. No coach, no help, I built everything entirely on my own with the help of Allah (God) Almighty.
When I cut out all distractions for the longest period ever.
When I turned down social occasions time after time, to where I literally had nobody apart from Mrs, my late mother (may God be pleased with her) and few others who supported me throughout my journey.
When I stopped getting invited to places because of how committed I was to my goal 🥅.
I felt alone yet I knew I had Allah swt.
I was told I was too obsessed 🙄
And when I got hit by a car 🚗 , while cycling in June 2024, they said “wo tho geya” meaning health and fitness for him is game over!
But here’s the truth I learned and Subhanallah it aligns with a profound principle we find in our Deen (religion) Islam:
Anything worth achieving in life comes with a price tag 🏷️attached to it.
For years I tried to avoid paying the price; cutting corners, taking the easy route 🛣️. But there is no easy route. Allah (SWT) reminds us in the Quran:
“And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives.” (Quran: 53:39)
Success… whether in this world or the Hereafter is built on commitment, sacrifice, hard work, and a solid plan.
When I gave up temporary enjoyment 🎂🍔🍕to focus 🧠 on my goal 🥅, and built everything from scratch by the help of Allah swt, I was living the meaning of Ikhlas (sincerity), self-reliance and true focus.
When I felt alone and misunderstood, I realised that walking a path of purpose often means few walk with you, just as the Prophets ﷺ (PBUH) before us endured isolation for what was right. Quality of support always matters more than quantity.
I learned: shortcuts never lead to lasting success 🏆.
People who strive for the long-term goal 🥅, receive long term results 🎯
Because what you build slowly, with your own hands, effort and patience, Allah swt blesses it and makes it last even more.
💡 Sacrifice is never a loss — it’s an investment.
