Break-fast, the safest way to stop fasting!
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day… for children, athletes, those who do sustained physical work or who do NOT want to lose weight!🤭What is the role of breakfast? To bring energy from the outside, so that the body does NOT turn to its own resources, that is, fat deposits.
⚠️During sleep, when we do not eat, our body functions based on glucose reserves in the liver. When we wake up, we have 2 options: either we bring external calories from breakfast, or we do not eat anything and then the body is forced to make glucose from reserve fat.
The process is called gluco-neo-genesis, meaning the synthesis of glucose from non-carbohydrate materials, namely fat/lipids. It is activated only during fasting and occurs spontaneously in the morning, after a 10-hour food break.
⚠️As its name suggests, breakfast, or BREAK-FAST, is the method by which we stop fasting. Consequently, the necessity and importance of eating in the morning differs depending on our goals: if we want to lose weight, we skip breakfast and let the body burn fat. If we don't have problems with our figure or we do physical exercise, breakfast is the healthiest habit to start the day with. You decide😜
