Just a quick thought I wanted to share today.

Life is already heavy enough, and the last thing I want to do is add to anyone's emotional baggage...
I know how deeply ingrained the concept of "utang na loob" or a "debt of gratitude" is in our culture...
While gratitude is beautiful, carrying the weight of feeling like you constantly owe someone can be exhausting...
So, to my friends, family, and anyone who has ever received a helping hand from me, please drop that weight...
You don't owe me a return favor...
You don't owe me your endless loyalty out of guilt...
You don't owe me anything at all...
Anything I have ever done for you came straight from the heart, with zero expectations...
If I did it, it’s because I wanted to see you win, smile, or just breathe a little easier...
