03.07.2026 The cricket tournament organized by Hemmathagama Welfare Association Qatar - HEWAQ was successfully concluded with great excitement and sportsmanship.
On behalf of our HWAQ association, we extend our sincere appreciation to all the players who represented our team and participated with dedication and commitment.

The Amiri Diwan has announced the passing away of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. ⁠

Qatar is mourning the loss of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Father Amir of the State of Qatar, who passed away at the age of 74.

"May Allah envelop the great leader of the nation in His vast mercy and forgiveness, and grant him a spacious place in Paradise with the prophets, the righteous, the martyrs, and the virtuous.
May God reward him on our behalf with the best of rewards for the great and enduring deeds he performed for his nation and the Arab and Islamic world, and inspire us all with patience and solace"

🏏 Inter Hemmathagama Excom Indoor Cricket Tournament

On behalf of our management team, we would like to extend our best wishes for the upcoming indoor cricket tournament organized by the Hemmathagama Executive Committee (HEWAQ), which will be held on the evening of Friday, 3rd July 2026.
