Depois de dois dias de grande competição, emoção, fair play e Goalball, chegou ao fim mais uma edição especial do CAC Goalball Cup – Summer Edition! 🏆

Foi um verdadeiro privilégio receber todas as equipas em Caneças e testemunhar tantos grandes momentos, dentro e fora de campo. 🫂

🇵🇹 TEAM SPOTLIGHT – CA CULTURAL 🇵🇹

Next up in our team introductions for the EGCA Champions League Finals 2026 in Berlin: CA Cultural from Pontinha, Portugal! 🔴🟢

CA Cultural may be making their Champions League debut this season, but they are certainly no strangers to the European goalball scene. The Portuguese club has established Odivelas as an important destination on the EGCA calendar, hosting Grand Prix tournaments in both 2024 and 2025 before organizing their first Champions League Qualification Stage in February 2026. 🇵🇹🏆 ([EGCA][1])

And what a Champions League debut it has been. Playing on home soil in Odivelas, CA Cultural produced a perfect group stage with three wins from three games and an impressive 25–8 goal difference. They then defeated ASD Omero Bergamo 5–2 in the quarterfinals before narrowly losing 6–7 to Fen Tigers in the semifinal. 🔥 ([EGCA][2])

CA Cultural responded in style in the bronze medal game, beating ASCND Marseille 14–5 to secure third place and, most importantly, their ticket to the Final Stage in Berlin. Javier Serrato scored nine goals in that game and finished the tournament with 26 goals, making him the second-highest scorer of the entire Odivelas Qualification Stage. 🎯💥 ([EGCA][2])

Now, in their very first Champions League season, the Portuguese side will compete among Europe’s best clubs for the continental title. Can they continue their impressive debut campaign in Berlin? 👀🏆
