O Desafío Ruta 40 YPF 2026 proporcionou cinco jornadas memoráveis. Apesar de alguns contratempos que influenciaram as classificações finais, a equipa voltou a demonstrar competitividade, determinação e ambição para lutar pelos lugares cimeiros em todas as provas.

Segue-se agora a próxima ronda do W2RC: o Rallye du Maroc, de 28 de setembro a 3 de outubro.

Old Friends shone on the final day of the 2026 Desafío Ruta 40, taking stage victories in both the Challenger and SSV categories.

The fifth and final stage featured a demanding 340 km timed section around San Juan, with high-speed tracks, rocky terrain and altitudes exceeding 3,300 metres.

Despite a few setbacks affecting the final standings, the team once again showed its competitiveness and determination throughout five memorable days of racing.

A penúltima etapa do Desafío Ruta 40 ligou San Rafael a San Juan, num duro desafio de 306 km cronometrados. Navegação exigente, mudanças de ritmo, altitude acima dos 3.000 metros e setores técnicos em rios secos testaram pilotos e máquinas ao limite.

The penultimate stage of the Desafío Ruta 40 took competitors from San Rafael to San Juan in a demanding 306 km timed special. Complex navigation, constant pace changes, high-altitude sections above 3,000 meters and technical dry riverbeds pushed riders and machines to the limit.

A terceira etapa do Desafío Ruta 40 marcou o ponto intermédio desta maratona argentina, com partida e chegada em San Rafael, naquele que foi o dia mais longo desta edição. Ao longo de 409 quilómetros cronometrados, os participantes enfrentaram um percurso técnico e variado, entre leitos de rios secos e rochosos e as emblemáticas dunas de Nihuil, naquela que foi a etapa mais longa desta edição.

A penúltima etapa desta edição 2026 do Desafío Ruta 40 levará os concorrentes de San Rafael de regresso a San Juan. Com 306 quilómetros ao cronómetro e 341 quilómetros de ligações, pilotos e equipas enfrentarão uma especial rápida e técnica, maioritariamente composta por pistas de terra e zonas rochosas.

Stage 3 of the Desafío Ruta 40 marked the halfway point of this demanding Argentine marathon, with a loop around San Rafael delivering the longest stage of the event. Over 409 timed kilometres, competitors faced a highly technical and varied route, from rocky dry riverbeds to the iconic Nihuil dunes.

A segunda etapa do Desafío Ruta 40, disputada hoje entre San Juan e San Rafael, trouxe novas exigências aos participantes. Com 128 quilómetros cronometrados e mais de 500 quilómetros de ligação, a jornada destacou-se por um percurso bastante diferente da etapa inaugural, com a areia a dominar cerca de 60% do trajeto.

A terceira etapa, agendada para amanhã, assinala sensivelmente o ponto intermédio desta maratona argentina e terá partida e chegada em San Rafael. O bivouac continuará instalado no Centro de Congressos e Exposições da cidade, na província de Mendoza. O dia ficará marcado pela especial mais longa da prova e o aparecimento de algumas dunas, com 408 quilómetros ao cronómetro, aos quais se juntam 166 de ligações.
