We broke some decks to see what they can really take.

Traditional 7-ply maple, fiberglass-reinforced maple, XPU 1.6 and the new XPU 2.1 – all tested under the same repeated-load setup.

The goal was simple: find the limits, learn from the results and keep improving the construction.

XPU 2.1 is our strongest version yet – built from rider feedback and proven through testing.

Luis bought his Impact deck in January 2025.

He sent us this feedback video in April 2026 – after more than one year of skating it.

To keep things transparent: this came from our early honest-feedback action. Riders received a discount for sending real feedback – positive, negative, or mixed.

We wanted to hear what skaters really think, show the boards in real use, and keep improving them from actual rider feedback.

What’s new in XPU 2.0?
Additional reinforcements for better break resistance.
Updated composite fiber layup for more stability and strength in critical zones.
Thinner core – slimmer deck, slightly softer flex, 5% less weight.
8.0: 1.26 kg → 1.22 kg

We ran a simple chip test: 9 drops, side by side.
Maple tail: destroyed.
Impact XPU: barely marked.

That matches what we’ve been hearing from skaters – Impact XPU stays strong for longer.

We’ve seen a lot of misinformation floating around about our deck.

No — it’s not full carbon fiber.
No — it’s not made of plastic.

Built from the ground up through years of prototyping, testing, and feedback from real skaters, this deck represents our vision for a better, more durable skateboard — one that doesn’t chip, doesn’t sog out, and doesn’t quit mid-session.
