Pakistan’s young chess sensation Rayaan Rehman has earned the prestigious Arena International Master (AIM) title from the International Chess Federation, adding another major achievement to his growing career.

At just 10 years old, Rayaan is already considered one of Pakistan’s brightest chess talents. He previously became the youngest Pakistani to achieve both the Arena FIDE Master (AFM) and Arena Candidate Master (ACM) titles.

His latest achievement further strengthens his reputation as one of the country’s most promising young players on the international chess stage.

Chess Federation Pakistan under leadership of Mr. M. Hanif Qureshi conducted trials for FIDE Olympiad for persons with disability 2026 to be held in September, 2026.

20+ Specially Enabled persons across Pakistan participated in these trials, and amongst them following people outclassed their opponents in a challenging contest.

1st Position: Mr. Aneeq Akhtar (Karachi, Sindh)
2nd Position: Ms. Sehba Shah (Lahore, Punjab)
3rd Position: Shaheer Nawab (Swat, KPK)

Final team to be travelling for FIDE Olympiad for persons with Disabilities will be announced by Mr. M. Hanif Qureshi (President - CFP) consisting of 04 players by middle of next week, Inshaallah.
