On behalf of the President of Pakistan Federation Baseball, Prof.Dr.Muhammad Hamood Lakhvi , and the entire Pakistan Federation Baseball family, we extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Muhammad Rana Tanveer, CEO of Ajwa City, and the management of Ajwa City Gujranwala for dedicating a place for the Ajwa City Khawar Shah Baseball Academy.

Named in honour of Late Syed Khawar Shah, Founder of Baseball and Softball in Pakistan, the academy will provide baseball practice, pitching instruction, skills development, and new opportunities for the youth of Gujranwala.

This meaningful initiative honours a great legacy while helping inspire and develop the next generation of Pakistani baseball players.

Pakistan U-12 has arrived in Hangzhou, China, to compete in the 2026 XII BFA U-12 Asian Baseball Championship alongside Asia’s top baseball nations: Japan—World No. 1 and Asia No. 1; Chinese Taipei—World No. 2 and Asia No. 2; and Korea—World No. 4 and Asia No. 3.

This championship offers our young players valuable international exposure and an opportunity to learn from the world’s best. Play your very best and make Pakistan proud! 🇵🇰💚

🇵🇰 The Wall of Pakistan Baseball ⚾

In 2001, Sarfaraz Ahmed stood as the wall of Pakistan’s defense, playing a vital role at shortstop in helping Pakistan win its first-ever Silver Medal in the Asian Baseball Cup.

Renowned for his exceptional fielding, game intelligence, and unwavering commitment, he earned the respect of teammates and opponents alike. After an outstanding playing career, he continued to serve Pakistan Baseball as Fielding Coach, preparing and guiding the national team to compete against some of Asia’s strongest baseball nations.

His legacy is one of dedication, discipline, and pride. He has inspired generations of players and made a lasting contribution to the growth of baseball in Pakistan.

This is the Pakistan National Baseball Team that proudly won the country’s first-ever Silver Medal at the Asian Baseball Cup 2001 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

🇵🇰 ONE SWING CHANGED THE FINAL.

Some moments define a championship. Others define history.

During the 2011 SAARC Cup Final in Lahore, Pakistan was trailing Sri Lanka 3–1 in the 8th inning.

With two runners on base, Mussadiq Hanif stepped to the plate and launched a clutch 3-run home run, completing Pakistan’s comeback and securing a 4–3 victory.

It was a swing that delivered the SAARC Cup title and became one of the most unforgettable moments in Pakistan Baseball history.

Following this historic triumph, Punjab Education Minister Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman announced a cash reward of PKR 2.5 million for the Pakistan Baseball Team in recognition of their outstanding achievement.

Today, we proudly honor Mussadiq Hanif and every member of that championship team whose dedication, courage, and belief brought international glory to Pakistan.

Heroes are remembered. Legends inspire generations.

The 12th BFA U-12 Asian Baseball Championship 2026 will be held in Hangzhou, China, in mid-August 2026, featuring Asia’s top eight ranked teams competing for the championship.

Participation in BFA events is a crucial pathway for the Pakistan Federation Baseball (PFB). Without regular participation and strong performance in Baseball Federation of Asia (BFA) events, it becomes difficult to qualify and compete at major international platforms, including the Asian Games, World Baseball Classic, and future Olympic Games.

Therefore, the first and most important goal is to ensure Pakistan’s consistent participation in every major BFA and WBSC event. The second priority is to continue improving our performance.
