Here is a glimpse of the successful Bank Expo held by Hamara Paisa at Depilex College of Cosmetology where many banks participated. The Expo bridged the gap between the banks and the consumers and helped the students open bank accounts in an amiable enviroment. Not only this, by bringing the banks to the consumers, the students realised that opening a bank account is not complicated and the need to ask the right questions to have a more productive expeirence at their banks.
Hamara Paisa conducted a seminar on 'Financial Literacy' at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), Lahore. This was our first step towards empowering the youth particularly young women, who are close to stepping into their professional worlds. The main idea was to educate these young minds and streer them towards saving and intelligent spending so they can prepare themselves or set a financial goal and work for it.
The session was a huge success and it was a pleasure discussing the economy and the importance of Banking.

Hamara Paisa conducted Family Financial Literacy Workshops in Lahore recently with the help of SID foundation.
These workshops targeted the street where once, Drug peddlers & Nashai gangs, promoters & prostitutes, liquor dealers & pan spitting clients frequented until over a year ago. Now, 'Learning Hubs' has opened up new avenues for the people residing there by giving them an opportunity to save their future generations from such demoralized professions.The audience comprised of a mix of families which may include a dancer or promoter & those who had left these fields and joined the Learning Hubs & the general community who had previously stayed away from venturing into the ill famed street.
The sessions were sponsored by Ali Zafar Foundation. Our team discussed saving methods even if their income is minimal. The team handed out saving envelopes to motivate the audience into saving by giving an incentive to match their saving at the time of the next workshop when the envelopes would be opened. They learned how to open bank accounts, to do transactions, use an ATM card and budgeting.
The sessions were a huge success and Hamara Paisa team could not have been happier to become a part of this movement.

Bazil was an active member during our training session who was looking to open up an account for the first time. Hamara Paisa is proud to announce that we have entered into a partnership with EFU Life Assurance Ltd to promote financial inclusion. Through this partnership we aim to bridge the gap of lack of awareness on financial products and look forward to the future.
The agreement was signed by Mr Taher G. Sachak MD & CEO EFU Life and Mr Fateh Ahmad CEO & Founder of Hamara Paisa at a ceremony held in Karachi.
Mr Taher G. Sachak said, ‘Lack of awareness on financial products, including insurance, is one of the main reasons for the low pe*******on of such services in Pakistan. Through our partnership with Hamara Paisa, we aim to bridge this and look forward to the future’.
Going forward, we can now work towards a common goal of providing easy access to Life & Health Insurance products to all our Hamara Paisa customers!
