*79th Independence Day Celebrated by KHA at Olympian Hanif Khan & Dr. Junaid Ali Shah Hockey Stadium*

*Karachi, 14th August 2026:*
*Karachi Hockey Association (KHA)* celebrated the *79th Independence Day of Pakistan* at *Olympian Hanif Khan & Dr. Junaid Ali Shah Hockey Stadium* with great enthusiasm.

The ceremony began with a *cake cutting ceremony* followed by an *exhibition hockey match* between *KHA White Team and KHA Colour Team*. The match ended in a *1-1 draw*.

*Aisha Nadeem* scored for KHA White Team while *Maheen Ali* scored for KHA Colour Team.

The match was *supervised by Kashmala Batool and Rizean Khan*.
*Olympian Hanif Khan* graced the occasion as the *Chief Guest*. He appreciated the efforts of KHA and encouraged players to continue promoting hockey.

Yesterday, the players had a get-together at the KHA hockey Stadium....🏑🏒
