Top campaign from the Aussie Storm!

With less than two weeks' notice before travelling to China to compete at the IBSA Goalball World Championships, the Australian Men's Goalball Team has embraced the opportunity and delivered an outstanding performance on the world stage.

Throughout the tournament, the Aussie Storm continued to rise to every challenge, competing with composure and belief against some of the world's best. Their efforts resulted in a tenth place finish, one of the strongest results achieved by an Australian Men's Goalball Team at a World Championship.

This achievement is a credit to all players, coaches and support staff who worked tirelessly to prepare for the event and represented Australia with pride.

International competition at this level is invaluable, providing the experience and exposure needed to continue developing, growing and building towards future success.

Congratulations to everyone involved in an incredible campaign. We look forward to seeing where this experience takes the team next.
