Eight students from the Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) completed Grupo Agatep’s internship program, which gave them a firsthand look at the rigors and demands of working in an integrated marketing communication agency.

Assigned to different teams across the agency, the student-interns worked on various client accounts, developed communication materials, and collaborated with media partners, giving them a deeper appreciation of the work behind strategic communication and public relations.

During a culminating activity on July 16, Grupo Agatep Managing Director Michelle Bayhon, MPA congratulated the student-interns and thanked them for their contributions to the agency. Grupo Agatep Chairman and CEO Norman Agatep, APR, meanwhile, reminded the students of the vital role communicators play in society and encouraged them to help shape a more responsible and meaningful communication landscape for the future.

The Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) held its second general membership meeting today at Palm Grove in Makati City. The event was headlined by content creator, award-winning writer, and journalist Pola del Monte, better known online as Miss Chief Editor, who led a session titled Stewarding the Story: Media Literacy and Writing with Impact. The discussion focused on the power of effective writing and its role in shaping narratives and influencing reality.

During the meeting, members of the PRSP Board discussed key organizational developments, including the establishment of satellite offices in the Visayas and Mindanao. Grupo Agatep Chairman and CEO Norman Agatep, APR, who also serves as PRSP Vice President for Internal Affairs and Chairman of the 62nd Anvil Awards, provided updates on the upcoming awards program, which is set to formally launch on July 15. Agatep highlighted seven new categories that will be introduced in this year’s edition of the Anvil Awards.

Meanwhile, seven new members were inducted into the organization during the same event.

Forty years of music, ministry, and faith took center stage as Bukas Palad Music Ministry marked its milestone anniversary with a special concert at Hyundai Hall in Areté, Ateneo de Manila University.

The evening served as both a celebration and a homecoming, revisiting Bukas Palad’s rich musical journey through the decades. Members from different generations came together for the occasion, including founders Fr. Manoling Francisco, SJ, Jandi Arboleda, and Norman Agatep, underscoring the enduring legacy of the beloved music ministry.

The concert also kicked off Bukas Palad’s yearlong 40th anniversary celebration. More performances are slated in the months ahead, with the group set to bring its music and message to audiences across the Philippines and abroad.
