Yes they drowned, but it doesn’t mean they did not know basic swimming skills, a person who doesn’t know how to swim will most likely not engage themselves in an activity that has a very high percentage of them drowning.

Remember, no matter how good of a swimmer you are, if the conditions are not favorable or at worse, dangerously risky, you are still at the mercy of mother nature.

An accident happened, there was negligence, it could have been avoided, but lives were still lost. Let us be considerate and do not treat their passing as a marketing strategy to sell lessons.

Let us pray for their peace and may they be granted eternal repose.
