Taguig Gooners Squad

Tonight, our star player Luarez Francis Juan would be retiring from basketball.

He was a big contributor to the Gooner's squad, but tonight, he would be signing off.

He quoted:

"To my Taguig Gooner Squad family,

Today is one of the hardest days for me because I've decided to step away from basketball.

This game has given me unforgettable memories, great teammates, and lessons that I'll carry for the rest of my life. We shared victories, defeats, laughter, and challenges together, and I'll always be grateful for every moment we spent on the court.

Lately, I've realized that I no longer have the passion and motivation to keep playing. It wasn't an easy decision, but I believe it's the right one for me at this point in my life.

Thank you to everyone in Taguig Gooner Squad for believing in me, supporting me, and treating me like family. You all helped me grow not only as a basketball player but also as a person.

This may be the end of my basketball journey, but the memories and friendships we built will always stay with me. I wish the team nothing but success in the future. Keep working hard, keep believing in each other, and never stop chasing your goals.
