Big things ahead for dragon boat in Los Baños.

Another productive meeting with the representatives of the Office of the Mayor of Los Baños, together with Summit Sports Academy and the Guardians of Makiling Lakeside Dragonboat Association.

Happy to share that the proposed dragon boat project received strong support from the LGU as we discussed the event requirements, logistics, and plans for developing dragon boat in Los Baños.

Excited to move forward with the plans for grassroots development, sports tourism, and a future dragon boat race in Los Baños.

Big things are on the horizon for the local sports community! 🌊

​Last May 3rd, we had the privilege of meeting with the Summit Sports Academy to discuss a shared vision: bringing the discipline and excitement of Dragon Boat to our local waters.

​This collaboration is about more than just a sport; it’s about building a community of paddlers, fostering teamwork, and creating a new athletic legacy in the heart of Los Baños.

​A huge thank you to Summit Sports Academy for the warm welcome and for sharing our passion for sports development. We can't wait to see this vision come to life!

SYKLab Powers the Kabaddi Coaching Certification Program 2026 🇵🇭

SYKLab Sports Event Management and Consultancy proudly supports the Philippine Kabaddi Federation (PKF) in organizing the Kabaddi Coaching Certification Program happening from May 7–10, 2026 at National University – Laguna.

In collaboration with the South East Asia Kabaddi Federation (SEAKF) and Kabaddi Association of Malaysia (KAM), this program brings together international leaders and experts in the sport, led by SEAKF President Somprach Phoncoo, Secretary General ASP Arul Prakash, Malaysia Kabaddi President Mr. Peter Gopi, and Head Coach Ravi Shetty.

This initiative marks a significant step in building a strong foundation for kabaddi in the Philippines—developing certified coaches, strengthening grassroots programs, and elevating the country’s presence in the regional sporting landscape.

At SYKLab, we are committed to delivering impactful sporting events and creating platforms that empower athletes, coaches, and organizations to grow and excel.

SEAKF EXPANDS TO THE PHILIPPINES – A MILESTONE FOR KABADDI IN SOUTH EAST ASIA 🇵🇭

The South East Asia Kabaddi Federation (SEAKF) delegation, led by President Somprach Phoncoo, Secretary General ASP Arul Prakash, President of the Kabaddi Association of Malaysia (KAM Kabaddi) Mr. Peter Gopi, and SEAKF Head Coach Ravi Shetty, visited the Philippines to support the continued development of kabaddi and strengthen its foundation in the country.

In line with SEAKF’s vision of regional growth, the Philippines moves closer to becoming part of the SEAKF family—marking a significant step in expanding the sport across South East Asia and building a stronger kabaddi community in the region.

The Philippine Kabaddi Federation (PKF), headed by President Edison Jallores Jr., together with Secretary General Mitch Lazaro, Deputy Secretary Generals Krizza Martin and Ly Ca Saguiguit, and the rest of the team, proudly hosted the Kabaddi Coaching Certification Program—an important initiative aimed at developing local coaches and elevating the standard of the sport nationwide.

The event was organized by SYKLab Sports Event Management and Consultancy, supporting the delivery of this milestone program for Philippine kabaddi.

Also present were Tanauan Kabaddi Association President Ryan Jerome Sales, Vice President Racque Del Mundo, and Kabaddi athlete Daniel Medrano Cruz, all aligned in their commitment to further develop and promote kabaddi in the Philippines.

With the guidance and support of SEAKF, PKF reaffirms its dedication to building a strong national program and striving for excellence on the road to future international competitions, including the SEA Games 2027.
