One of the highlighted activities in the two-days workshop is the Integrating Activity. This is where participants who are put in groups are tried and tested in a way. Interpersonal, and social skills are exercised. Potential leadership skills from few participants would surface. Working relationships are put to test, and group dynamics evolve.

Here, personalities of participants are exposed in one way or another. Working styles, cooperation, being pro-active or not in the group, teamwork, and simply that level of participation are being showcased to be able to deliver the needed output -- required from the integrating activity.

The faces of our first ever public workshop on Basic Supervisory Development Workshop: Being Effective and Connected to Your Team.

First day was a thrill for almost everyone. Basically, we do not know what to expect, because most of us do not know each other. ☺️ After a while though, and with the right icebreaker, the ice breaks, and so, almost everybody can feel comfortable already.

Smiles, laughs, and that anticipatory feeling were all over. The GTKY was a delight. Reconnections were made with our past clients, and a few new ones to take place in time. The ambience got more warmth, and became more welcoming, and accommodating. It was a joy to kick off the workshop. At last! 😎

One hundred twenty-eight years ago, Emilio Aguinaldo waved the flag and declared to the world --- tayo ay malaya. We are free.

But freedom is never finished. Every generation must fight for it anew --- not just against foreign powers, but against division, dysfunction, and indifference from within.

Today, our Senate is fractured. Walkouts. Power struggles. A chamber divided against itself, leaving the people's business unattended. It is a painful reminder that unity is not guaranteed -- it must be chosen, again and again.

So this June12th, let's celebrate not just what was won in 1898, but recommit to what we still owe each other as Filipinos --- genuine representation, mature governance, and a politics that puts the people first.

The real independence we are still looking toward is a Philippines where its leaders govern with the same courage and sacrifice our heroes showed on that historic day.
