Registration Deadline Extended!

Due to the overwhelming interest in the competition and the numerous requests received, the registration deadline has been extended to June 4, 2026.

We appreciate the strong support from the community and encourage all interested participants to complete their registration within the extended period.

From 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟬 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the medieval town of 𝗥âș𝗻𝗼𝘃, 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮, will host the European Masters Off-Road Running Championships. This is your invitation to test your limits in the stunning Carpathian Mountains, surrounded by centuries of history and the legendary landscapes of Transylvania.

The EMORRC 2026 program features three distinct challenges designed to showcase the diversity of off-road running:

𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲: 3.7 km with a grueling +800m elevation gain.
𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲: 40 km of technical terrain and +2000m total ascent.
𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗨𝗽 & 𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗻: A fast and scenic 12 km loop with +400m elevation.

All the accompanying people can register to the open races, or just relax and visit this incredible Region.

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: this is a European Championship, but the 𝗡𝗼𝗻-𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗲! You will be eligible for individual diploma and rankings, though only EMA-affiliated athletes can claim European podium titles.

Please be advised that the City Oval will be temporarily closed to the public starting Monday, May 18. We will begin major renovation of the oval and the construction of additional sports facilities.

These improvements are part of our continuing commitment to provide better, safer, and more modern spaces for athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and the entire community.

The closure will remain in effect until further notice while construction is ongoing. We ask for everyone’s patience and understanding as we work toward creating an improved sports complex for our city and its residents.

Another young athlete (born in 2010) Great job to Princess Eromole for finishing first in her heats in both the 200m(heat 1) and 400m(heat 2) at the 55th Korea National Spring Middle & High School Athletics Competition 👏

Note: For the sprints (100m, 200m, 400m) and 400m hurdles, only local athletes are allowed to compete in the finals. This was arranged prior to the competition, but all performances are still considered official.

This collaboration with KAAF aims to provide meaningful international exposure, elevate competitive standards, and support the development of young high school student-athletes through global competition and cultural exchange.
