Talusi itinanghal bilang kampeon sa Binturungan Cheer Dance Competition 2026

Nasungkit ng Pangkat Talusi ang kampeonato sa ginanap na Cheer Dance Competition sa Palawan State University Open Court, kasabay ng pagdiriwang ng Binturungan Festival 2026.

Nangibabaw sa mga hurado ang Pangkat Talusi at naiuwi ang tropeo na may puntos na 95.5 %. Sinundan naman ng Pangkat Tamaral sa ikalawang puwesto na may puntos na 91.66%. Samantala, nasa ikatlong puwesto ang pangkat Pilandok na may 77.8%.

Ayon kay John Aristotle Conde, isang gymnastics coach at isa sa mga hurado para sa kompetisyon, nakadepende sa pagkakaroon ng naiibang rutin ang kapalaran ng bawat pangkat. “Lahat naman ay magagaling pero ang hinahanap natin ay yung may uniqueness ang routine.”

Para naman sa Special Awards, naiuwi ng Pangkat Talusi ang Best in Choreography at Crowd’s Favorite. Nakuha naman ng Pangkat Pilandok ang Best in Uniform, at Best in Cheer naman ang pangkat Tamaral.

Ayon kay Brynt Esrael Madarcos, Dance Coach ng Pangkat Talusi: “Hindi ko inasahan yung result, kasi sobrang ikli ng preparation, ganun pa man nagpapasalamat ako sa parents at student government sa support.”

Dagdag pa ni Kim Jimenez, ang Head Coach: “Ang sabi lang namin ay ibigay nila ang best nila, kaya hindi naming inexpect na ganun ang results, despite the short preparations.”
