Irish, Jomar, and Mary are more than just a trio—they are among the pioneers of the Beyond Aptitude Gymnastics Team. Since Aerobic Gymnastics began at the Palarong Pambansa, they have consistently represented the City of Manila and the National Capital Region, carrying with them years of dedication, discipline, and love for the sport.
And now, their time has come to take that journey to a much bigger stage.
For the first time, they stood together as part of the Senior Trio Event, representing the Philippines with pride and honor at the 10th Aerobic Gymnastics Asian Championships, held on August 4–7, 2026, in Tagaytay City, Philippines.
And what a debut it was.
5th Place among the participating countries!
They owned that moment.
They showed what they could do.
They showed what it means to pour your heart into every movement, every beat, and every note of the music.
An international finalist on their debut?
Indeed, this is only the beginning of something even bigger.
To our Senior Trio—Irish, Jomar, and Mary—we are incredibly proud of you.
You walked onto that floor carrying the dreams of everyone who believed in you, and you walked away proving that you belong on this stage.

A NEW DAWN. A NEW DAY. A NEW LIFE.
Despite a minor setback just a few weeks before the competition, Jomar and Mary showed us what true partnership is all about—being there for each other, pushing through together, and never losing sight of the goal.
From the Palarong Pambansa stage, they now find themselves standing on one of Asia’s biggest stages in Aerobic Gymnastics, representing the Philippines with pride and honor at the 10th Aerobic Gymnastics Asian Championships.
From classmates, to friends, to teammates, and now international pair athletes—their journey proves that when you continue to show up for each other, every step can take you somewhere bigger.
This time, they fell just short of advancing to the finals.
But this isn’t their first rodeo.
Every competition is a lesson. Every challenge is another opportunity to grow. And this chapter is far from over.
They will come back stronger. They will come back wiser. And when that moment comes, they’ll be ready.

Without further ado, we introduce our Golden Boy, Jeoffrey Cañones, and his Individual Event. 🥇
Jeoffrey is the team’s very first Golden Boy. At his last Palarong Pambansa in 2024 in Cebu City, Jeoffrey swept all five gold medals, including the Overall Championship in the Secondary Level. 🏆
He then took his talents to the international stage, becoming part of the Philippine Aerobic Gymnastics Team that brought home a bronze medal in the Group Category at the Southeast Asian Games 2025.
And now, Jeoff shines once more on Asia’s biggest stage.
This time, the medal may have just slipped away—but knowing Jeoffrey, the job is far from done. His journey doesn’t end with a ranking. It continues with every lesson, every setback, and every reason to come back stronger.
10th among Asia’s best.
Maybe it’s not always about standing on top of the podium. Sometimes, success is having the courage to keep believing, even when the result isn’t what you hoped for.

Marvelous Gomez and Jasmine Fronda stepped onto the international stage for the very first time in the Junior Mixed Pair Division—and what a debut it was! 🇵đź‡
These two proved that sometimes, the biggest battles happen even before you reach the competition floor. From fighting during training to laughing together right after, they somehow turned all those little clashes into a performance that brought them all the way to 5th Place out of 11 Asian countries!
You fought, you laughed, you pushed each other, and most importantly—you pulled through together. ❤️
