As we continue to experience the effects of the Habagat, let us come together in prayer and place our trust in God’s unfailing protection.

We invite everyone to join us in praying the prayer provided above, lifting our families, communities, and nation to the Lord. May we especially remember those who have been affected by the heavy rains, as well as those who continue to serve and assist communities in need.

May the Lord be our refuge and strength throughout this time, granting us safety, courage, and peace as we face the habagat together. 🙏🌧️

As this beautiful day comes to a close, we still want to take a moment to honor Saints Joachim and Anne, the beloved patrons of our grandparents. 🏡❤️

Their lives remind us love and wisdom are often passed down through the quiet sacrifices of those who came before us. Through our lolos and lolas, we experience a love that is deeply rooted in God's grace.

Today, may we remember to thank our grandparents not only for the stories they share and the care they give, but also for the values and faith they continue to instill in us. And for those whose grandparents are already with the Lord, may this day be a gentle reminder of the love they left behind. a love that continues to live on in our hearts.

Happy Feast of Saints Joachim and Anne! May they continue to watch over every lolo and lola, inspiring us to cherish the generations that have shaped who we are today. 🤍

The UST Pax Romana Central Coordinating Council joins the Catholic faithful in mourning the passing of Rev. Fr. Ernesto De Leon, former executive secretary of the CBCP Episcopal Commission on Evangelization and Catechesis (ECEC), who died Saturday, June 13, at 59.

We remember his life and ministry, especially his tireless dedication to catechesis and the faith formation of the Filipino people. We extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to his family, friends, and the communities he so devotedly served.

Let us pray,
O God, who among your apostolic priests raised up your servant, Fr. Ernesto, to the dignity of the priesthood, grant, we beseech you, that he may also be admitted to their glorious company in heaven.
V. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord.
R. And let perpetual light shine upon him.
V. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
R. Amen.
