Mt. Banahaw is a 2,170-meter sacred volcanic mountain located between Laguna and Quezon, known for its rich biodiversity, dense forests, waterfalls, caves, and natural springs.
⛰️🌿 It has long been considered a spiritual destination and holds an important place in Philippine culture, folklore, and religious traditions.
For mountaineers, Banahaw is legendary for its historic and challenging trails, including routes from Dolores, Tayabas, Sariaya, and Lucban.
🥾 Today, much of the mountain is protected and access to sensitive areas is regulated to preserve its unique natural and cultural heritage.
