The Philippine Judo Federation will host two events on 19 – 20 August 2026, namely the Kata Referee Seminar and Licensing and the High Dan Examination for Promotions. These events will be held in Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental.

All affiliated members are encouraged to apply for promotions and participate in the Kata events to further boost the technical development of Judo in the Philippines.

Further details, including the official guidelines, eligibility requirements, and registration procedures, will be disseminated via email to all affiliated clubs.

The Philippine Judo Federation, in partnership with the Philippine Sports Commission, will hold the PSC-PJF National Kata and Team Championships at the Nazareth Gymnasium in Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental this August 21 - 23, 2026. This event will be hosted by the Region X Judo Association.

The championships will gather judokas from affiliated clubs across the country to compete in the Kata and Team events. This also serves as an opportunity for athletes to demonstrate their skills at the national level while strengthening camaraderie within the Philippine judo community.

Details have been disseminated to member clubs via email.
