Quiapo's Golden Mosque, officially known as Masjid Al-Dahab, was built in 1976 and remains a symbol of the country's Muslim heritage. Although time has left its mark, its soaring golden dome still commands attention and makes it easy to imagine the landmark in its former glory.

In celebration of Filipino Food Month 2026, QCinema is holding a reels competition and is looking for 10 unique culinary stories that reflect culinary passion and art in everyday life.

Each selected entry will receive ₱5,000 and a chance to be featured on Quezon City's official platforms.

MECHANICS
• Open to all QCitizens, including students from public and private schools and universities, amateur filmmakers, and culinary enthusiasts;

• Only one (1) entry per individual participant will be accepted;

• Entries must present a culinary story that clearly reflects culinary passion and art in everyday life;

• Competition is open to all genres:
* Narrative (fictional storytelling);
* Documentary (real people, real stories);
* Experimental (non-traditional or abstract forms);
* Animation (2D, 3D, stop-motion, or mixed media);

• Submit a finished video reel following these technical requirements:
* Portrait / Vertical orientation (9:16 aspect ratio);
* Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080);
* Format: MP4 or MOV
* Maximum duration of 90 seconds (including credits);
* Language: Filipino, English, or any Philippine language or dialect (with English subtitles required);

• Participants must register through the official Google Form and submit the following:
* Film title;
* Format;
* Short synopsis (maximum of 50 words);
* Director’s name and contact details;
* Google Drive link containing the video reel;

• Entries will be evaluated based on:
* Relevance to the theme;
* Creativity and originality;
* Artistic expression;
* Effective use of the 90-second running time;

• Deadline for submission: April 25, 2026. Winners will be announced on April 30, 2026.
