On May 28, we commemorate the historic first unfurling of the Philippine flag in 1898—marking a monumental step toward our nation’s independence.

This also marks the beginning of the National Flag Days, leading up to Independence Day on June 12. As student leaders and citizens, let us fly our colors with pride, honor the sacrifices of our history, and continue working together to build a brighter, more united community.

From today until Independence Day on June 12, we encourage to proudly display the national colors. Let us fly our flags high and remember the history that binds us together.
