Women’s History Month is about honoring the women who came before us — the ones who helped build the platform women stand on today.

From having a woman lead our union, to the first female representative in the World Rugby Council, to the many awards earned by the women of our union.

From bringing home medals for the country, to the continuous growth of women in our sport, and the increasing number of young girls joining our grassroots programs.

Today, women are not only playing the game — they are also leading and running our union, spearheading projects and initiatives that shape the future of Philippine Rugby Football Union.

The Philippine Rugby Football Union will continue to create space for women to represent the country and empower more women in the community.

From learning to leading 💪✨

Last January 14–18, 2026, we wrapped up an inspiring Training of Coaches in Albay with 13 amazing coaches (7 fierce females, 6 dedicated males!) and joined by our very own, Alena Olsen, all gearing up to bring the Feeling Safe curriculum back to their own communities 💛

Seeing these young coaches grow, step up, and prepare to serve their communities reminds us why we do what we do. We are beyond proud and grateful to support this journey 🌱
