Please be officially informed that the venue for the 89th Iloilo City Charter Day Mayor’s Football Festival 2026 has been changed to:

This venue change is being made to ensure that our tournament will have a suitable and safe playing environment for all participating teams.

Please be guided accordingly and make the necessary adjustments to your team's travel and tournament arrangements.

89th Iloilo City Charter Day Mayor’s Football Festival 2026

To all participating teams, coaches, players, parents, and football supporters:

Due to the continuous heavy rains experienced over the past several days, the original tournament schedule has been cancelled and rescheduled. The weather conditions have left the playing fields in an unsafe and unplayable condition.

The safety and well-being of our young athletes remain our top priority. We also want every participant to fully enjoy the excitement, competitiveness, and spirit of football on a field that is suitable for quality play.

After careful coordination with the organizers and the Office of the City Mayor, the tournament will now be held on:

We understand that this adjustment may affect your plans, but we believe this decision is in the best interest of all players, coaches, officials, and supporters. The additional time will allow the venue to provide a safer and more enjoyable football experience for everyone.

The participating teams for the tournament have now been finalized.

To all teams that submitted inquiries and reservations, please note that teams who were unable to settle their booking confirmation and registration fee within the given period have had their reservations released and allocated to teams on the waiting list who completed their payment requirements.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. However, due to the limited number of slots available, we must strictly implement a first-paid, first-served policy to ensure fairness to all participating teams.

In the coming days, we will be posting the official list of teams per category, along with the tournament rules, guidelines, schedules, and required forms.

To all teams who have successfully secured their slots—congratulations! Thank you for your trust and support. We look forward to welcoming you to an exciting weekend of football, sportsmanship, camaraderie, and competition.

With all tournament slots now officially filled for the 89th Iloilo City Charter Day Mayor's Football Festival 2026, we would like to request all teams who have previously reserved a slot to kindly confirm their participation at the soonest possible time.

To secure and finalize your team's slot, please complete your registration by paying the required registration fee through GCash.

In our commitment to providing the best possible football experience for every participant, the 89th Iloilo City Charter Day Mayor's Football Festival 2026 will now be played under a Single Round Robin Format for all categories.

This exciting adjustment means more guaranteed matches, more playing time, and more opportunities for every team to compete, develop, and enjoy the beautiful game. Rather than a shorter tournament format, every player will have more chances to showcase their skills, gain valuable match experience, and create unforgettable memories on the pitch.

For our young footballers, this means more touches on the ball, more learning moments, more confidence-building experiences, and more fun with teammates and fellow athletes from different clubs and communities.

🏆 CHAMPIONS! ICFC CONQUERS THE 1st BABY GONZAGA MEMORIAL CUP! 🏆

What an electrifying and unforgettable football spectacle as ICFC captured the championship crown at the 1st Baby Gonzaga Memorial Cup held at the Christopher Estate North Football Hub in Talisay City on May 17, 2026! ⚽🔥

ICFC opened their campaign with a statement victory against BUFC, grinding out a hard-fought 1-0 win courtesy of a brilliant strike from Jez Tunog. 💥

The second match brought another intense battle as ICFC faced off against IC-FCB in a thrilling 1-1 draw, with both squads refusing to give an inch. Determined to stay on top heading into the finals, ICFC closed the elimination round with another gritty 1-0 victory, powered by a clutch goal from Zandro Delfino. 🙌

Then came the championship showdown — a high-pressure rematch against IC-FCB that had fans on the edge of their seats from start to finish. IC-FCB struck first in the opening half, leaving ICFC down by a goal and fighting against the clock. But champions are built for moments like these. 💙

With only moments remaining in the second half, the crowd exploded as Zandro Delfino delivered a stunning LAST-MINUTE equalizer that shook the pitch and sent the match into a dramatic penalty shootout! ⚡🔥

And when the championship hung in the balance, goalkeeper Joie Juanico stepped up as the hero of the night — making TWO HUGE SAVES in the shootout to seal the victory and bring the title home to ICFC! 🧤🏆

Adding to the celebration, Jez Tunog was deservedly awarded as the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) for his outstanding performance, leadership, and impact throughout the competition! 🌟👏
