I play pickleball for hours, and whenever I finally check my phone, the battery is still high. It always reminds me of something.

For hours, I’m not scrolling. I’m not stuck in bed. I’m not overthinking every little thing.

I’m running, laughing, sweating, missing shots, losing games, and enjoying every moment.

I’m still far from being a great player, but pickleball gives me something I didn’t know I needed—a few hours where my mind can finally rest.

Maybe I don’t win most of my games, but I always feel like I win the day.
