OFF CAMPUS × ATENEO DE DAVAO

Every program reaches a milestone, and today, we're proud to celebrate one of ours.

We are proud to share that Andrei Manuel has become the first MBA player to earn a spot with OFF CAMPUS Basketball, the basketball program representing Ateneo de Davao University.

This is a proud milestone not only for Andrei, but for the entire MBA community.

Maraming salamat kay COACH JESS at sa buong Off Campus Basketball family for believing in Andrei and giving him the opportunity to continue his basketball journey at the next level.

Primarily a Power Forward, Andrei also has the versatility to play the Small Forward position. Known for his physical style of play, he's a relentless competitor who finishes strong at the rim, crashes the boards, defends multiple positions, and can stretch the floor with his perimeter shooting. His toughness, motor, and willingness to do the little things have earned him the respect of many around the South side of Davao City.

As he begins this new chapter under Coach Jess' guidance, we know this is only the beginning. Continue to learn, compete, and grow into an even better basketball player every single day.

Continue to represent MBA Basketball through Off Campus Basketball × Ateneo de Davao University with humility, discipline, and pride.

The basketball community mourns the loss of Rene Baterbonia, a talented young hooper who proudly represented Off Campus, Ateneo de Davao, and Team DAVRAA Davao Eagles.

A bright future, a passionate athlete, and a life gone too soon. Though his time with us was short, the impact he made on the court and in the lives of those around him will never be forgotten.

The MVA Family extends its deepest condolences to Rene's family, friends, teammates, coaches, and loved ones during this difficult time.

Rest easy, Rene.
