In line with the preparation for the upcoming Bantayog–Talisay Triathlon 2026, the event organizer conducted the Katibayan Swim Challenge on April 11, 2026, as a pre-activity designed to serve as a practice run for participants ahead of the main triathlon event.

To ensure the safety and security of all participants and spectators, personnel of the Camarines Norte Maritime Police Station under the direct supervision of PMAJ LAWRENCE P MARTINEZ, Station Chief conducted seaborne patrol and maritime security operations throughout the activity.

The operation was carried out in close coordination with Bantay Dagat, Talisay MPS, and the Philippine Coast Guard–Camarines Norte, covering the waters surrounding Centennial Wharf, Talisay, Camarines Norte.

Camarines Norte MARPSTA remains steadfast in its commitment to secure coastal events and safeguard lives at sea at all times.
