The two young skaters represented the Philippines at Skate Asia 2026, held August 6–16 at Sunway Pyramid Ice in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. The competition brought together more than 1,400 skaters from across the Asia-Pacific, giving young athletes the opportunity to compete, learn, and experience the excitement of skating on an international stage.

Rising to the Challenge, Bringing Home the Podium ⭐🥈

Congratulations to Henia Ethana Diandre T. Go for finishing 2nd in the 13–15 Years Old Female Category at the RLC Residences IRONKIDS Lapu-Lapu 2026! 🥈

IRONKIDS is the youth counterpart of the IRONMAN race series, giving young athletes the opportunity to experience endurance racing through age-appropriate events. The Lapu-Lapu leg featured the Swim.Run/Aquathlon, with athletes completing a 250-meter swim followed by a 2-kilometer run.

For Henia, this year’s race came with an even bigger challenge. After consistently finishing on the podium in this tournament in previous years, she stepped up from last year’s 11–12 age group to the 13–15 division—while also competing despite an injury. And once again, she made her way to the podium.

We’re celebrating Jewel Evannah Yukayguan for taking on not just one, but two competitive sports! 🎉🎉🎉

Jewel recently went from flips to fights, competing in both gymnastics and jiu-jitsu! 🤸‍♀️🥋 She joined the 3rd Cebu Elite Gymnastics Summer Cup Competition in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Level 2, Age 10–12, showcasing her skills across different apparatuses. She also competed in the 2026 Flipsports International Jiu Jitsu Open, taking on the mats with strength, focus, and determination.

Two sports, two very different challenges, and one amazing young Astras athlete! 💪🏻✨

🏆 Winning Streak Continues for Our Astras Tennis Varsity 🎾✨

Sabrina Mary Aldeguer and Alessandra Marie Garcia continued their winning streak at the Palawan Pawnshop Mandaue City Junior Age Group Tennis Championships. 🎾

The PPS-PEPP circuit is known for bringing together some of the country’s best young athletes, and our girls once again embraced the pressure, rose to the challenge, and turned every match into an opportunity to grow.

With another strong showing on the court, Sabrina and Alessandra added another milestone to their growing tennis journey. Congratulations, girls! 🎾⭐

Congratulations to Vanya Avery A. Go for her impressive performance in the ICTSI Pueblo de Oro and ICTSI Negros Occidental Junior Pilipinas Golf Tournaments, two legs of the ICTSI Junior Pilipinas Golf Tour (JPGT)—a nationwide junior golf circuit that brings together the country’s top young golfers to compete, earn ranking points, and qualify for the season-ending Elite Finals.

Vanya claimed 1st Runner-Up in the 7–10 Girls Division, and her strong finishes across both tournaments earned her a spot among the Top 4 Junior Golfers in the Visayas/Mindanao Area. With this achievement, she has officially qualified for the 2026 ICTSI Elite Junior Philippine Golf Tour Finals! 🏆⭐

The Astras community looks forward to witnessing her continued growth and success as she takes on the Finals on August 17–20, 2026, in Cagayan de Oro. ⛳
