TRAFFIC ADVISORY

GOVERNOR'S RUN 2026 – ZERO HUNGER
August 2, 2026 | 1:00am to 7:00am

The Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO) advises the public that temporary traffic management measures will be implemented beginning 1:00am to 7:00am on Sunday, August 2, 2026, in connection with the Governor's Run 2026 – Zero Hunger.

To ensure the safety of all participants and the orderly movement of both vehicular traffic and runners, portions of major roads along the official race route will be subject to intermittent traffic control, lane management, and temporary traffic restrictions. Motorists are advised to expect increased traffic volume, possible delays, and temporary road closures along affected areas during the conduct of the event.

Traffic Management Measures:
The Governor's Run will officially commence at the Cebu Provincial Capitol.

Temporary traffic control measures will be implemented along the entire race route.

Traffic enforcers, Cebu City Police personnel, race marshals, and event coordinators will be strategically deployed at all major intersections and turning points to facilitate the safe passage of runners and motorists.

Emergency vehicles shall be given priority passage at all times.

Official Fun Run Route:

Start at Cebu Provincial Capitol

Proceed southbound along Osmeña Boulevard

Right turn to B. Rodriguez Street

Left turn to V. Rama Avenue

Right turn to N. Bacalso Avenue

Left turn to F. Vestil Street

Left turn to Cebu South Coastal Road (CSCR) proceeding toward M. J. Cuenco Avenue

Right turn to Legaspi Extension

Left turn to S. Osmeña Jr. Boulevard

Left turn to Pope John Paul II Avenue

Proceed to Salinas Drive for the 21-Kilometer Turning Point, then make a U-turn

Return via Pope John Paul II Avenue

Right turn to S. Osmeña Jr. Boulevard

Right turn to Legaspi Extension

Left turn to M. J. Cuenco Avenue

Right turn to Legaspi Street

Left turn to Jakosalem Street

Right turn to Osmeña Boulevard

Continue northbound and finish at the Cebu Provincial Capitol

Designated Turning Points:
1 KM Turning Point – Gen. Maxilom Street

3 KM Turning Point – V. Rama Avenue

6 KM Turning Point – N. Bacalso Avenue / F. Vestil Street

12 KM Turning Point – Plaza Independencia Area

21 KM Turning Point – Salinas Drive

Motorists traveling along Osmeña Boulevard, B. Rodriguez Street, V. Rama Avenue, N. Bacalso Avenue, F. Vestil Street, Cebu South Coastal Road (CSCR), M. J. Cuenco Avenue, Legaspi Extension, S. Osmeña Jr. Boulevard, Pope John Paul II Avenue, Salinas Drive, Legaspi Street, and Jakosalem Street are advised to expect intermittent traffic delays and temporary traffic control during the conduct of the event. Please allow additional travel time, use alternate routes whenever practical, and strictly follow the directions of traffic personnel deployed along the race route.

The Cebu City Transportation Office requests the cooperation and understanding of the motoring public as we work together to ensure the successful, safe, and orderly conduct of the Governor's Run 2026 – Zero Hunger.
