When your client booked a 7 AM session… but his midnight Open Play got extended to 2 am 😂
The OP ran late because of some organizing issues, so my client understandably couldn’t make it to our morning session.
Court booked.
Time blocked.
No client.
So instead of wasting the session, I used the opportunity to practice solo—and ended up creating a new drill.
Sometimes, the best ideas come from making the most out of an unexpected situation.

The most annoying serve in Open Play.

What A Glow Up✨
The progress is showing, but we’re not done yet.
Keep learning.
Keep improving.
Keep enjoying the process.

He's already improved a lot.
But there's always another layer to work on.
We started with his forehand drive—refined the movement, applied the adjustment, and then worked on the backhand.
And you can see the difference.
That's the part of coaching I enjoy most:
Not just telling a player what to do.
Helping them understand what needs to change—and watching them make the adjustment themselves.
The Glow Up isn't one big transformation.
It's a series of small improvements that start to change the way you play.

What are you working on in your game right now?
No racket sports background?
No problem.
With the right guidance, you can also have that sought after twoey backhand volley ☺️

What a run!
Alex Eala beat the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 seeded players at the DC Open to take home her first-ever hardcourt title 🤯
Unbelievable run.
Complete the sentence. 😂👇

(Disclaimer: Meme lang 'to. Huwag seryosohin. 😂)
Most players spend more time practicing their drives than their serve.
That's a mistake.
Your serve is the only shot in pickleball that guarantees your team a chance to score.
Every point you win starts with one thing: putting the ball in play with purpose.
A great serve isn't about chasing aces.
It's about consistency.
It's about placement.
It's about depth.
It's about starting the rally on your terms.
The players who improve the fastest understand this:
The serve isn't just the first shot—it's the first opportunity to take control.
Before you add power or fancy spin, master the fundamentals.
Build a serve you can trust under pressure. Then layer in placement, depth, and variety.
That's how you Glow Up your game—not by making one spectacular shot, but by making the right shot, every time.
🏓 Coach A's Tip: Don't just serve to start the point. Serve with purpose.
💬 How would you rate your serve from 1–10? What's the one thing you're currently working on?
