Butuan Runners Club had the privilege of visiting Bahay Pag-Asa formerly known as Home for the Boys in Brgy. Antongalon, Butuan City as one of the beneficiaries of the Butuan Marathon: Run for a Cause 2024 of the City Government of Butuan.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: 𝘉𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘯 𝘙𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘊𝘭𝘶𝘣 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 (The photo depicts beneficiaries from a home for the boys, whose identities have been carefully protected to ensure confidentiality and privacy.)

In the spirit of giving back to the community, Butuan Runners Club recently conducted a heartwarming outreach program for one of the beneficiaries of the recently concluded Butuan Marathon 2024: Run For A Cause.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: 𝘉𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘯 𝘙𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘊𝘭𝘶𝘣 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴

Led by the BRC President Marcon Chu, visited the 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙜 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙀𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡, a local organization dedicated to supporting community especially the children. The group spent the day engaging in various activities aimed at bringing joy and assistance to those in need.

𝙺𝚎𝚢 𝚑𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚕𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝𝚜 𝚘𝚏 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚊𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚟𝚒𝚝𝚢: 𝙳𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚒𝚋𝚞𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝚘𝚏 𝚜𝚞𝚙𝚙𝚕𝚒𝚎𝚜, 𝚜𝚕𝚒𝚙𝚙𝚎𝚛, 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚏𝚘𝚘𝚍𝚜 𝚝𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚌𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚍𝚛𝚎𝚗 𝚘𝚏 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚜𝚌𝚑𝚘𝚘𝚕.

The Butuan Runners Club commitment to community service serves as an inspiring example of how sports can transcend individual goals and contribute to the greater good.

BRC is truly grateful for the opportunity to give back. 𝘼 𝘽𝙄𝙂 𝙏𝙃𝘼𝙉𝙆𝙎 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧'𝙨 𝘽𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙣 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙣 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝘽𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙣 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮. This reminds us of the real purpose behind our runs and motivates us to keep pushing forward to share and give back.
