𝘽𝙤𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙎𝙪𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙒𝙎𝙇 𝙎𝙞𝙝𝙚𝙪𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙖 𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙤𝙣

Edgar “Taybo” Calvo Jr., a surfing champ honed by Borongan waves, bested seasoned international surfers to bag the Longboard Qualifying Series championship at the World Surf League (WSL) Siheung Korea Open held in Siheung, South Korea, from July 3 to 5.

Taybo secured the win with a 17.40 heat that concluded the finals, officially naming the Borongan native as this year’s WSL - Open LQS Korea Champion.
