Nakit an ini naton sang una sa mayor’s cup lang nihampang. Sara sa tibuok Pilipinas na ni showcase sang iya abilidad.

​Usa ka madasigong Bantayanon gikan sa Barangay Guiwanon, si Jerald Desamparado, padayon nga nagpakita sa iya kahanas kag kalantip sa volleyball isip varsity player sa National University (NU) sa Manila.

​Bisan layo sa aton isla, wala magpaulahi si Jerald kag napamatud-an ang lebel sa iya hampang pinaagi sa mga mosunod nga kalampusan:

​Gikan sa aton mga baybayon padulong sa dagkong korte sa Manila, gidala ni Jerald ang tinuod nga kasingkasing sa usa ka Bantayanon—mapailubon, mabinantayon, kag may disiplina. Siya usa ka buhing inspirasyon sa aton mga batan-on nga nagdamgo lat nga molabaw pinaagi sa sports.
