JUSTIN LIMJAP RECLAIMS MARAPARA CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP

Businessman Justin Limjap is back as the men's club champion of the Negros Occidental Golf and Country Club in Bacolod.
Limjap scored a convincing 6&5 victory over John Paul Gaston in today's 36-hole final to end a five-year wait for his fourth title.
The 63-year-old Gaston, nephew of the late amateur legend Francis, simply had no answer to Limjap's solid play in their rain-drenched final.
Limjap earned a return trip to the National Tournament of Club Champions next May at Eagle Ridge where he reigned as men's champion then representing Valley.
"It's been a while, just happy to have earned another chance to play the NTCC," said Limjap, who relocated to Bacolod in 2020.
