A massive semifinal awaits our PNG U-16 boys! π΅π¬β½
At 7:00 PM tonight, Papua New Guinea takes on football powerhouse New Zealand in the OFC U-16 Championship semifinal.
The stakes couldn't be higher. The winners of today's semifinals will secure direct qualification to the 2026 FIFA U-17 World Cup, which will be held in Qatar from 19 November to 13 December 2026. With three World Cup spots available for Oceania, this is a huge opportunity for our young Kapuls.
This is more than just a football match it's the first step towards the world stage.
Our boys need the support of the nation. Let's pack the stands and create an atmosphere that will inspire them to give everything on the pitch. It won't be easy against New Zealand, but with the crowd behind them, they'll have the extra energy and belief to compete until the final whistle.
Wishing the coaching staff and the entire team all the very best.
Good luck, PNG! π΅π¬
