If you’re preparing for a trek, you don’t need to recreate the entire trip every weekend.
Get strong, walk regularly and gradually spend more time on your feet. Add hills and a pack with weight as you get closer.
Consistency over a few months will do far more for you than one enormous hike two weeks before you leave.

The best bit isn’t just the view.
It’s more the walking up to it with people who were strangers three days ago and somehow aren’t anymore!
Something about a mountain trek makes for better conversation than the office or the pub ever will!

Headtorch, snacks, rain jacket.
You don’t want to be digging around for it when you need it! Whippa - loving this backpack!
