If people can’t stop safely when their car breaks down, we have a serious problem. Whatever the circumstances behind this incident, public confidence is shaken when crowds gather and people feel vulnerable on the streets of Port Moresby. The NCD Government must make public safety a priority. We all want to be proud of Port Moresby, but that pride must be backed by action that keeps people safe. NCD government do better to make the place safe. This is not good. Poor guy is in desperate need of help.

“For any kids out there, there are two things – you can have individual skill, but you can also have ball mastery on the end of it,” Robinson said.

“You might have the skills, but have you got ball mastery? Can you control that ball at all different angles, at all different heights?

“That’s what he’s got. His ability to know where the ball is around his body, 360 degrees, how to change his fingers, how to change the pass, how to move it into space, that’s called ball mastery.

“He’s by far the best I’ve ever seen at that. Sonny Bill was the other one who had it, but those two are in rare air.”

The NRL is set to offer Mark Nawaqanitawase a special, unprecedented two-week training contract to extend his time in rugby league so he’s eligible to play in the World Cup - which would prevent him from touring with the Wallabies 😲

“While he will defect to Japanese rugby union later this year, NSW winger Nawaqanitawase has no contract arrangement with Rugby Australia and could legally play in the Rugby League World Cup, which will be contested in Australia, New Zealand and PNG from October 15 to November 15,” Dean Ritchie reports.

“…NRL player contracts end each year on October 31 – right in the middle of the four-week World Cup.

“This masthead has been told the NRL would look at giving Nawaqanitawase a contract which would his extend rugby league tenure to November 15, the date of the World Cup final.”

Kangaroos coach Kevin Walters has already made it clear he wants the Roosters gun in the World Cup side if he’s available 🦘
