Day 1: Porebada and Roku Netball Association. We had a successful outing in Porebada and Roku villages yesterday.

Day 2: Boera Netball Association - Today, the team is preparing for delivery here in Boera Hub.

We thank Hiri Koiari West Netball Association Executive for accepting our program in their District - its heartwarming to see that the local support is there.

Highlights: Gender & Inclusion Activity Delivery – Hiri Koiari West District*

One Netball PNG delivered its inaugural Gender & Inclusion Activity for Phase III yesterday at Papa and Lealea Netball Associations in Hiri Koiari West District.

*Participants*: People living with disability (PLWD) and members of the LGBTI community.

*Lessons delivered*: Modified sessions on:
- Diversity & Inclusion
- Leadership
- Communication
- Gender Equality

*How we made it accessible*: Balloons, softer size 4 balls, portable netball posts, and accessible venues to meet participants’ special requirements. We prioritised a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for everyone.

*Language*: Lessons were delivered in English, Motu, Tok Pisin, and local Koita language by One Netball trained coaches, with support from guardians and Association Executives.

Seeing our participants learn, smile, and have fun was the best outcome for us.

*One Netball PNG – West Hiri Koiari Returns Home After Successful Scoping Exercise*

The One Netball PNG West Hiri Koiari team has arrived safely back in town following a very successful scoping exercise.

The strategic hubs visited were Roku, Porebada, Boera, Lealea, and Papa Netball Associations. These associations form part of the Hiri Koiari Netball Association Structure (HKNA), a national affiliate of Netball PNG Inc.

The scoping exercise was mapped out in preparation for the upcoming "Gender and Inclusion Activity" part of the Phase III Pilot Project.

The delivery plan is to implement life and social skills, alongside modified netball skills, for identified participants with disability (PLWD) and LGBTI participants.

. “Getting the support from the respective communities is satisfying, as it makes our work easier,” said delivery coach Tau Uea...

The scoping exercise sets the pace for effective delivery. We thank all Association Presidents and their executives for ensuring the groundwork was done properly. Great teamwork indeed!

Bula olgeta! One Netball PNG finally caught up with our One Netball Pacific sisters and NA TU Manager last night during our official welcome event hosted by Team Up.

Yes, we've been teaming up to delivering Sport for Development Programs in the Pacific through our partnership, and it's time to reflect and celebrate on our significant efforts!

It's Day One (1) and we look forward to sharing our stories and shared purposes!

We both arrived safely in Nadi, Fiji to join the rest of the Team Up Program Implementers across our Pacific Region.

The week will showcase our joint activities deliveries and celebrate our achievements.
