Belize is waiting for us! 🇧🇿🌿
In September 2027, we’re heading back to the heart of Belize for seven days of birds, nature, and mindful exploration.
From striking Vermilion Flycatchers and beautiful woodpeckers to hummingbirds, tanagers, warblers, and so much more, Belize offers incredible birdlife around every corner. 🐦
But this retreat is about more than finding birds. We’ll slow down, spend time observing them, and enjoy the forest through mindful birding, nature sketching, forest bathing, gentle yoga, and more.

A little glimpse of what our recent days in the field have looked like in Panama. 🇵🇦🌿
From the beautiful Spectacled Owl and Slaty-tailed Trogon to reptiles and many other surprises along the way. Every outing brings something different—and that’s one of the things we enjoy most about exploring Panama’s incredible biodiversity.
Here are just a few of the encounters from our latest tours. 🦉🦎🪶

There’s a whole different world waiting after the sun goes down. 🌙🔦
Night walks always bring their own surprises — creatures emerge, sounds change, and the forest seems to come alive in a completely different way.
During one of our latest night walks with Edwin Campbell Thompson we came across so many interesting little creatures along the way. 🐸🕷️🦎
Definitely one of our favorite activities and a reminder that some of nature’s best surprises happen after dark. ✨

Sometimes the best sightings happen when you least expect them! 👀🌿
A few days ago, our guide Domiciano Alveo and clients spotted this Common Potoo (Nyctibius griseus) along Pipeline Road in Gamboa.
Perfectly camouflaged, it might have gone unnoticed… until a group of monkeys passed by and startled it, giving them the chance to spot it!
Just another unexpected moment while birding in Panama. 🦉🌿

One of Brazil’s most colorful jewels. 💚💙
The Green-headed Tanager (Tangara seledon) is one of the iconic birds of Brazil’s Atlantic Forest. With its incredible mix of colors, it’s easy to see why tanagers are among the highlights of birding in Brazil. 🇧🇷🪶
