South Island is going to get some action, get the lures out boys it's about to fire, our mapping is showing high probability water sitting NW of Westport right now

Thanks to our first 50 founding members who locked in the early-bird discount code. The FOUNDING50 discount is now closed. Full price is $99/year - still less than half a lure cost to know where the highest probability zones will be.
Catch validations have been coming in daily and making the system stronger as designed, appreciate the user input and feedback

How to use Vector IQ effectively
Running a Watch
Open the app and select your zone and target species
Tap "Run Watch" - we'll pull the latest satellite SST, currents, chlorophyll, and weather data
You'll get tactical marks scored by our prediction engine - these are the spots where conditions line up best for your species right now
Live Page
Head to the Live page to see your GPS position. Your tactical marks from the watch appear here too, so you can navigate straight to them.
Bite Times
Check the solunar panel for your best windows. We combine moon phase, sunrise/sunset, and species-specific feeding patterns to highlight when fish are most likely to be active. The timeline shows intensity throughout the day - darker = better.
Validating Your Catches
When you hook up, tap "Bite" or "Validate Catch" Buttons and log the location, species, and conditions. Upload a photo if you've got one.
Why it matters: Every validated catch feeds our Pattern Learning System. The algorithm learns which SST, chlorophyll levels, current patterns, and conditions produced real fish - then uses that to sharpen future predictions. More validations = smarter marks for everyone. Your marks are never shared with other users just the data associated with the catch mark.
You're not just using the app - you're making it better.

What Makes Vector IQ Labs Different
Vector IQ Labs was built to solve a familiar offshore problem:
too much data, not enough certainty.
Most tools fall into one of two camps:
shared, human-plotted marks, or
raw satellite layers that require hours of interpretation.
Vector IQ Labs takes a different approach.
Not shared marks — context-driven intelligence
Tactical zones are generated from defined inputs: species, location, timing, and environmental conditions.
Outputs are not manually plotted or batch distributed.
When identical inputs are used at the same time, the system produces identical results — ensuring consistency, repeatability, and trust.
Not a weekly forecast — a live intelligence layer
Predictions can be re-run as conditions evolve. This allows anglers to adapt to shifting currents, temperatures, and timing rather than committing to static information days in advance.
Not a black-box AI system
Vector IQ Labs is built on human offshore fishing expertise and ocean science, which forms the baseline intelligence of the system.
From there, predictions are refined over time as real-world outcomes — including both successful alignments and logged no-bite results — are validated and fed back into the intelligence layer.
Human knowledge sets the foundation.
Real fishing outcomes refine it.
Designed around probability, not promises
Vector IQ Labs doesn’t guarantee catches. No system can.
What it does is:
reduce wasted miles
highlight higher-probability water
improve timing decisions
sharpen focus when conditions align
Learning from the water, not just the screen
When predicted conditions align with on-water activity, that information strengthens the model.
When they don’t, those outcomes are logged as well — helping reduce false positives and refine future zone selection.
In short:
deterministic intelligence, grounded in human expertise, refined by real-world fishing outcomes.
Vector IQ Labs doesn’t replace seamanship or experience.
It gives you a better-informed starting point.
More detail on how the system works — and how to get the most out of it — will be shared here as the platform evolves.
