Started riding a MiniGP bike from 6 years old in Apr 2025 "Have a Go"

Hazard! 🚧😂

Had a wicked Sunday racing at Manawatu-Orion MCC ... although apparently my new hobby is getting caught in crashes and trying to dodge Hazards. 😅

Ended up starting two races from what felt like the next postcode after getting tangled up in collisions (starting to think this is becoming a tradition 🤦‍♂️).

Somehow still managed to come away with 🥇 1st | 🥉 3rd | 🥈 2nd.

Can't complain too much—pretty stoked with those results considering I spent half the day playing catch-up! Onwards and upwards. 💪🏁

Managed to get some great wet laps in yesterday with Minigp Academy NZ at Kartsport Manawatu. There's nothing quite like riding in the rain to build confidence, smoothness, and bike control.

Looking forward to more laps, whatever the weather!

Sunny day racing Round 2 .nz ! ☀️🚴

Finished the day 2-3-1.

Race 1: Stalled off the gate and had to fight back for 2nd.

Race 2: Crashed twice but got back up and still managed 3rd.

Race 3: Saved the best for last—stayed in the hunt and pipped the rider ahead on the final lap to take the win! 🏁

Plenty to work on, but happy to finish the day on a high. On to the next round! 💪

Another big weekend in the books!

Saturday was an awesome day racing with my Manawatu-Orion MCC teammates. Great racing, great vibes, and I even came away with a new personal best lap time! 💪🔥

Sunday definitely threw a few challenges my way, finishing 10th, 9th, and 18th.

Race 2 saw me get caught up with a couple of riders early on, dropping all the way back to 29th. I kept my head down, pushed hard, and worked my way back through the field to finish 9th.

Race 3 was over before it really got going. A rider went down in the first corner, and with nowhere to go I was caught up in the crash. It knocked the wind out of me, but I got back on, dug deep, and managed to bring it home in 18th.

Not every weekend goes to plan, but every race is another opportunity to learn, improve, and come back stronger. On to the next one! 👊🏁
