We’ve all started somewhere & there’s no bigger confidence boost than hearing words of support & encouragement from those around us. So spare a thought… your scorer may be familiarising themselves with new tech, the scoring console may have a mind of its own, and your umpire may not perfectly capture every moment of play across the entire court. Thinking before speaking goes a long way towards everyone having a good time. We're all for keeping vibes positive & words upbeat 💗

Congratulations to NWC Umpire Group member Caleb Binns alongside Netball Hutt Valley Centre member Gareth Fowler, named among seven Official of the Year Finalists as part of this year's 2026 Āti Awa Toa Wellington Regional Sports Awards! These hard-working individuals who continue to give back in so many ways are most deserving of such esteemed recognition. We are grateful that they continue to wave the flag for our beloved sport of netball and wish them the best for awards night on 20 August 🙌
