PIC Netball Club has produced many Silver Ferns and players who have represented the Cook Islands, England, Samoa, Scotland and Tokelau.

PIC Netball Club originated from the Pacific Islands Presbyterian Church, Newtown, Wellington NZ in 1953, to provide for the spiritual and recreational needs of its growing population. Our coaches also have coached national teams including the Silver Ferns, Cooks Islands, England and Samoa. We are Wellington Region's Premier Netball Club, that continually produces results, though never forgets our roots and those that went before us.

Congratulations to this superwoman for all that she does for our game, so proud of you ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿค

Congratulations to our Volunteer of the Month for June - Gail Saipani!

My, my, what does this willing wonder woman NOT do is the questionโ€ฆ her generous volunteering means she dons many hats. She's dutifully there on Pulse Game Days as team manager. She's St Mary's College Wellington Netball Coordinator, Senior A team manager & Senior B team coach gifting her time on Saturdays & Monday RSSL, organising team fundraising, front-footing trial prep & player communication. She's P.I.C Netball Club 1 team manager & stat-keeper. She's Netball Wellington Centre's Elected Board member & U18 Black rep team manager. Plus she's on committees outside netball too. To top it all off, Gail juggles full time work as well. Sheโ€™s all things to all people, giving so much yet expects nothing in return and all with a smile on her face. Mighty thanks to you Gail! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Keep those Volunteer of the Month nominations coming - July & August recipients await at sporty.co.nz/viewform/512205 with grateful thanks to WM New Zealand & Netball New Zealand

It is with much love and sadness that we acknowledge the passing of former club member Lueni Taufa. Lueni was part of the Smokefree PIC team, that competed in the Bendon League National Club competition in the late 1980s eventually winning in 1991. She is remembered as a kind, humble and very generous woman. Our thoughts go out to Bessie (Elizabeth Manu) Api & Salote Taufa for the loss of their beautiful aunty. No more pain Lu, rest easy ๐Ÿฅฒ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐Ÿ’š

Round One is officially done and dusted! Well done to our players and management on some amazing results and congrats to our PIC 5 team who have once again been promoted to Prem 2 for the second round. We now have two teams in Premier 1 and three teams in Premier 2 battling it out for the remainder of the 2026 season!

The grind continues to reach our season goals across our whole club! All the best to our five teams as they head into game one of round two this weekend. ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿค
