Looking again for some collective wisdom from this awesome Facebook community.
I (Alexandre Guichard) will be in SYDNEY next week as we prepare the groundwork for our future expansion into Australia in 2027–2028, with a particular focus on the Sydney and Melbourne regions.
I already have several meetings lined up to better understand the specifics of the Australian e‑bike market, the challenges, and the opportunities — but I still have a few open slots and would love to connect with people who could offer valuable insight or perspectives.
We are unlikely to follow the traditional importer → distributor → bike shop model with multiple layers of margin. Instead, we are exploring D2C, franchise-style concepts, or partnerships with open‑minded bike shops or concept stores willing to think differently about what an innovative, rider‑focused business model could look like.
If you are in Sydney and open to a conversation — or if you know someone who might be a great fit — I would love to connect. Feel free to share this post or send me a PM. Cheers.

Come and discover New Zealand’s ultra‑light e‑bike at the Wanaka A&P Show — Crafted from design to assembly right here. Built for our gravel trails and agile enough for town riding or commuting, it’s so light you can enjoy it as a push bike or an e‑bike.
Effortless to lift up stairs, into a car boot, or into your campervan, this award‑winning bike turns heads with its vintage styling and meticulous attention to detail.
Join us this Friday and Saturday at Booth A19.

How many kms can you ride on Le Velo Studio ebike on a gravel trail?
We like to say this bike is almost "infinite" range. The bike is so light, our riders usually do not use any assisted power on flat and tail wind.
Test ride yesterday to check some real life mileage with the battery of our innovative ewheel on the Dunstan Trail.
64 km from Clyde to Carrick Winery and back on the trail . 1070 m elevation 17.5 km/h average speed. Using the LVS 162 E-wheel.
Female rider . 168cm for 60 kg. She came back with 80% battery level. Male rider 184 cm for 83 kg (me, Alex😃) ,I came back with 60% battery level (was 80% 2 minutes before means real battery level was probably around 70%)
We both used muscles on flat and tail wind, and assisted power for climbs and head wind, to replicate how our riders usually ride our ultra light e-bikes.
So much fun too and Carrick Winery is such a nice place for a break and cold drink!
